WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

 

It  is  proposed  to  fill  up  the  temporary  and  time  bound  positions of Senior Research Fellow on contractual basis under the following projects. The eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling all the requirements are invited to appear before the Selection Committee for interview at V.P.K.A.S. (ICAR), Almora   on 28.12.2011 at 10.00 AM.

 

 

 

1.      HMNEH MM-I project on “Standardization of Production Technology of Off Season High Value Vegetable Crops under Protected Condition”.

Educational Qualification

:

M.Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture (Vegetable Science).

Experience

:

Experience in protected cultivation.

Nature of Work

:

Various Trials of Vegetable Crops under Protected Condition

Place of Work

:

KVK, Chinyalisaur/ Farmer’s Fields.

 

 

 

 

2.      HMNEH MM-I project on “Standardization of Organic Nutrient Management for Major Vegetable Crops”.

Senior Research Fellow (1 post)

Educational Qualification

:

Master’s degree in Soil Science (Soil Chemistry/ Agricultural Chemistry).

Experience

:

Laboratory experience and knowledge of vegetable crops.

 

3.      HMNEH MM-I project on “Deployment of Entomopathogens and Light Traps for the Management of Scarabaeids in Uttrakhand Hills”.

Educational Qualification

:

M. Sc. (Ag.) Entomology/ Plant Pathology/
Plant Protection. 

Nature of Work

:

Counting of Different Species of Grubs, Sampling & other Project Work.

Place of Work

:

KVK, Chinyalisaur – Instructional Farm & Adopted Villages.

 

 

Emoluments for SRF

–

` 16,000/- + HRA per month.

 

 

 

            Age limit For SRF -  The upper age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women on the date of interview 

                                                (relaxation in  age for SC/ST/OBC as per GOI/ICAR norms)

 

Terms and Conditions:

 

1.      The posts are purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the projects.

2.      The applicants must bring their bio-data (affixed with recent passport size photograph) along with original and photocopies of mark sheets and certificates of all examinations passed.

3.      No T.A. will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

4.      The selection of candidates doesn’t entail on them any right for absorption/ regularization at VPKAS (ICAR), Almora or any other sister concern including ICAR Headquarter.

5.      The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.
