Technology Available for Commercialization – Bacterial Entomopathogen based Biopesticide for Management of White Grubs

VPKAS has developed a bacterial entomopathogen based formulation of biopesticide for the management of white grubs. As you are aware that the white grubs are the serious pest of agricultural and horticultural crops in upland situations and also fodder and forest trees in different parts of the country. The entopathogenic formulation has been developed using Himalayan strain of a bacterium, which has shown high efficacy against the grubs. The details concerning bioefficacy testing at different locations along with bosafety report carried out at ITRC, Lucknow is available at the institute.

             The technology is now put forth for sale for the purpose of registration, commercialization etc. through Memorandum of Agreement as per ICAR guidelines.
